Organization of Content
This handbook is a compilation of materials for teaching and learning in the university context in the digital age. It intends to inform and inspire your practice by offering support for the adaptation and evolution of effective evidence-based teaching and learning practices.
The overarching scientific framework used to organize this handbook in its respective parts is known as the Digital Competency Framework for Educators in Higher Education, which details how digital technologies can be used to enhance and innovate education and training in the 6 areas described below. Note, however, that this resource is not a technology guide per se, but it marries critical pedagogy with an ethical and purposeful use of technology to help you realize your teaching intentions with competence and confidence.
