2 Imperial Micrometers

Below is a 10-minute video on how to use, calibrate and read imperial micrometers. A short 5-question quiz is below the video. Click on “Start Quiz” to begin. Micrometers (mics) are one of the most common measuring tools in a machine shop. It is commonly used on lathes to measure round pieces but can also be used for measuring the thickness,  and outside dimensions of various components with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
