Tortilla Pizza

Whole wheat tortilla topped with ground beef, melted cheese, tomato sauce, and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (57 g) cooked extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 8-inch (20 cm) whole wheat flour tortilla
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) no sodium added tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 2 medium button mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ small onion, diced
  • ¼ cup low fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place tortilla on a baking sheet.
  • Spread tomato sauce evenly over tortilla; sprinkle with dried oregano.
  • Lay spinach over the tortilla.
  • Add ground beef, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in oven for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
